How To Be Sure To Get Your Mail After a Snow Storm
I’ve been at this since Sunday when it finally stopped snowing and I think I finally have it licked. The last thing to take care of was my mailbox. In addition to the two feet of snow Mother Nature dumped on us over the weekend, the snow plows that were clearing the streets in the beautiful MD Suburbs also piled more snow right along he shoulder of the road. The same shoulder that the mail truck from the good ol’ U.S. Postal Service uses to deliver mail.
So, I was out there this morning, shoveling away.
It’s getting so the muscles I haven’t used in years are finally getting used to all the hard labor of bend – push – lift – throw -repeat.
Here’s a short video about the importance of shoveling out your mailbox (hint: it has to do with getting your mail). By the way, if you have one of those cool cluster boxes at the end of the street that you share with your neighbors or live in a high rise where all the mail slots are indoors on the first floor, you can ignore this.

Hi, Lanre
Thanks for the compliment and thanks for visiting the video and my blog.
I have a blog on Active Rain and I used to be very, er, active on Active Rain. I just decided to focus more of my energy and attention on this platform instead.
Happy holidays to you and yours, as well!
