Common Craft is a wonderful little company that creates great videos that are fun to watch and easy to understand.  As they’re slogan suggests: “Our Product is Explanation”.  One of the more popular videos (only 3 minutes and 50 seconds long) talks about the magic of compound interest and the importance of saving.

The fact that the example they use for saving is to purchase a house (like your down payment!) may be pure coincidence.  Or maybe not.  The numbers are small in this video but the concept is solid.  It’s well worth the few minutes to watch it!
